Tennis
Being one of the country’s oldest and most respected clubs, CLTC prides itself on the breadth and quality of its facilities and activities. All standards of player are welcome, with players ranging from four year old beginners to top internationally ranked adults. Whether it’s a friendly game of doubles, intensive coaching or a competitive singles match, CLTC has something for everyone!
The main CLTC site has 12 tennis courts, comprising five acrylic, three artificial clay and four natural grass (available late spring to early autumn). Three of the acrylic and all of the clay courts are floodlit, with lights being available until 21:30 each evening. CLTC also has a mini tennis zone and REBO Practice Wall, both of which are located adjacent to the artificial clay courts and can be used for junior play or regular practice.
CLTC Members also have access to eight additional courts (three acrylic, three artificial grass and two artificial clay) at the Hampstead Cricket Club. These courts are all floodlit and are available to Members during evenings, weekends and throughout school holidays. HCC is situated next door to CLTC, with the facilities accessed either through the main CLTC Clubhouse or via the HCC Car Park on Lymington Road.
