The Cumberland has now completed 12 seasons in the London Backgammon League, competing against the RAC, MCC, Roehampton, Hurlingham, Chelsea Arts, Groucho, East India, Home House and the Union.
Fixtures against each Club alternate each year between home and away. Teams consist of six players, each playing three matches. Matches take place on a midweek evening each month between September and May, with supper provided by the home club.
