Backgammon

The popular and lively Backgammon Circle includes more than 30 members.

We welcome players at all levels, whether seasoned players or beginners.  Members from both Cumberland Lawn Tennis Club and Hampstead Cricket Club may join us, without fees.

Throughout the year, we offer the following:

1. Internal League running 3 times a year.
2. External London Club League of 9 London Clubs including MCC, RAC, Hurlingham, Queen’s, Chelsea Arts, Union, East India and Roehampton. https://www.londonbackgammonleague.com/league
3. Social Evenings with supervised play, hosted at the Cumberland Clubhouse.
4. Summer 32 player tournament (in memory of founder members, Robert Schlagman and Alan Briefel).
